POWERpay (Release Notes 6th to 25th January 2020)

The following improvements/new features were added to the Payroll:

  1. Barbados Insurable Earnings.
  2. Employer's Annual Return.
  3. PAYE Monthly Upload Form.
  4. Pay Cycles.

1.  Barbados Insurable Earnings

  • A new Barbados Insurable Earnings (Fortnightly Cycles) report was created for fortnightly pay groups to handle fortnightly pay cycles that overlap pay years.  
  • The report was also adjusted to handle fortnightly pay cycles that overlap pay years.  
  • Also, the incorrect figures, that were being displayed for the cycles of the first month ever run for a fortnightly pay group, were fixed.

2.  Employer's Annual Return

  • The error, “Error executing Ajax callback function" that occurred when no pay group was selected, and when the Download in PDF or Download in Excel buttons were clicked, is no longer being displayed.
  • Multiple pay groups can also be selected.

3.  PAYE Monthly Upload Form

The report was modified as follows:

  1. The fields, Submitters TIN, Submitters Name, Submitters Address, Year, Month, were added to the report header.
  2. A row, displaying the Totals, was added to the top of the report.
  3. The spelling of Travelling was changed to Traveling.

4.  Pay Cycles

Permissions were added to allow users to view data on the drop-down list, as, previously, no data was being displayed.
