2. Opening Balances Import

Validation was added to the import.

Benefits>>Leave>>Leave Overrides>>Opening Balances

3. Scheduler - Automatic Posting of Leave

The Automatic Posting of Leave task was updated to ensure that leave records are automatically posted when the Scheduler is run.

Benefits>>Leave>>Leave Setup>>Scheduler

Benefits>>Leave>>Leave Transactions>>Leave Taken

4. Include Unapproved Leave Count

A new feature, Include Unapproved Leave Count, was added.  When enabled, this feature subtracts for an employee, the number of unapproved leave request records from the available balance, preventing the employee from exceeding his/her leave balance.  This is how it works.

Step 1:  Enable Include Unapproved Leave Count

System Configurations>>Feature Management>>Include Unapproved Leave Count

Step 2:  Apply for Leave/Display Message

The screenshot below shows that the employee has twenty-one (21) unapproved vacation days.

HOME>>Intranet>>My Benefits>>My Leave>>Pending Requests

The system will display an error message advising the employee that he/she has exceeded his/her available balance:
