Dept Administrators - Payroll Smart Entries (Release Notes 6th April to 2nd May 2021)

1.  Tabs Removed

The following tabs are no longer being used and were removed:

  • Timesheets per day,
  • Timesheet Per Week,
  • Not Yet Sent To Manager
  • Leave
  • Hire Employees
  • Separations
  • Timesheet Reports

Self Service>>Dept Administrators>>Timesheets>>Payroll Smart Entries:

The following tab was removed:

  • Manager Dept Timesheets

Self Service>>Manager:

2.  Modifications

The following modifications have been made to the screen:

  1. Entry Type: shows the description of each value, N (Hours) and T (Total).
  2. Alternate Rate:  can only be seen by HR Users or users who belong to the Payroll groups.
  3. Employee Lookup: now shows the department to which the employee belongs.
  4. Cost Centre Lookup:  shows the Cost Center Code in brackets next to the Cost Center Description.
  5. Batch Nos:  defaults to the current user’s initials plus 01 e.g. IM01.
  6. All fields are disabled once the record is posted.
