POWERpay (Release Notes 25th January to 18th February 2020)

The following improvements/new features were added to the Payroll:

  1. Barbados Insurable Earnings.
  2. Employer's Annual Return.
  3. PAYE Monthly Upload Form.
  4. Pay Cycles.
  5. BVI Payroll Tax.
  6. Guyana P.A.Y.E. Monthly.
  7. Cycle Pay Register Detail.
  8. Payroll Variances.
  9. Dot Matrix Employee Cheque.
  10. Salary Transfer Multi-Currency.

1.  Barbados Insurable Earnings

A new Barbados Insurable Earnings (Fortnightly Cycles) report was created for fortnightly pay groups to handle fortnightly pay cycles that overlap pay years.

2.  Employer's Annual Return

  • The error, “Error executing Ajax callback function" that occurred when no pay group was selected, and when the Download in PDF or Download in Excel buttons were clicked, is no longer being displayed.
  • Multiple pay groups can also be selected.

3.  PAYE Monthly Upload Form

The report was modified as follows:

  1. The fields, Submitters TIN, Submitters Name, Submitters Address, Year, Month, were added to the report header.
  2. A row, displaying the Totals, was added to the top of the report.
  3. The spelling of Travelling was changed to Traveling.

4.  Pay Cycles

Permissions were added to allow users to view data on the drop-down list, as, previously, no data was being displayed.

5.  BVI Payroll Tax

The following modifications were made:

  1. The 1st page (Summary) was added to the report.  The report now prints successfully according to the government template.  
  2. Cosmetic changes were made to the second page so that it matched the template more closely.
  3. The calculations on the report were fixed so that the report now shows the correct figures for the cycle generated.
  4. The 3rd allowance option was removed from the interface so that the allowances shown on the report are accurate.

6.  Guyana PAYE Monthly

The NIS and Statutory Deduction fields were added to the report.

7.  Cycle Pay Register Detail

The format of the report was modified so that there is no longer wide spacing between individual earnings.

8.  Payroll Variances

Non-Cash Allowances are now showing accurate values.

9.  Dot Matrix Employee Cheque

The cheque amount, in words, was added.

10.  Salary Transfers Multi-Currency

The report name is no longer being displayed in duplicate on the Payroll Reports menu.
