POWERpay (Release Notes 9th December 2019 to 6th January 2020)

The following improvements were made to the POWERpay Payroll module.

1.  BVI Social Security Report

Percentages were added to the labels as follows:  

  1. Employee was changed to Employee 4%.  
  2. Employer was changed to Employer 4.5%.
  3. Total Contribution was changed to Total 8.5% Contribution

2.  BVI NHI Report

The following changes were made to the above report:

  1. The format of the report was modified to better match the sample report.
  2. The Date was included on the report.
  3. Zeroes (.00’s) were added to the Week #1 to Week#4 figures.

3.  Import Cycle Changes

When importing cycle change records, previously, a validation error was displayed when attempting to post (Post Entries) and/or validate (Validate Entries) for the following cycle change records:  

  • D…Deductions….R…Employer Amount (any non-statutory deduction (set up or override)
  • D…Deductions….T…Account Type (the allowed values are:  S = Savings; C = Chequing; L = Loans; CC = Credit Card).
  • D…Deductions….E…Fixed Entry  Employer (for statutory deductions (override))

This error is no longer displayed and records can now be successfully validated and posted to Cycle Changes for processing:

4.  Employee Pay Slip Message

The character length of the Employee Payslip Message has been increased from 100 characters to 150 alphanumeric characters.
