3.  Invalid Positions

The report was updated to display all employees who are in invalid positions based on the organization structure.  The report can be used to aid the client prior to doing a Positions Re-Organization.  An Invalid Position occurs when an employee position is linked to an organization hierarchy that does not exist (which may arise when templates are uploaded).

Personnel>>Personnel>>Reports>>Positions Reports>>Invalid Positions

Example

There are 2 organization hierarchies:

  1. Company A

            >>Division A

                  >>Department A

                         >>Section A

  1. Company B

             >>Division B

                  >>Department B

                         >>Section B

An employee in Position No. POS1 is placed in:

Company A

            >>Division A

                  >>Department B

                         >>Section B

The employee’s organization hierarchy would be invalid and the employee position will show up on the report.

Also, if the employee was placed in

Company A

            >>Division A

                  >>Department B

This organization hierarchy would also be invalid and the employee position will show up on the report.
