HRplus Time - Create Leave for Absent without Leave Timesheets/Normal Shifts

1. Create Leave for Absent without Leave Timesheets

A new feature, Create Leave for Absent Without Leave Timesheets, has been added.  This feature allows employers to process unproductive days (e.g., Public Holidays) as Leave entries for employees who are entitled to be paid.

  1. When the feature is enabled:
    1. Leave entries are automatically created for Approved Timesheets where the Reason flagged is Absent Without Leave provided the employee is eligible to be paid for that day.
    2. The Absent Without Leave type must be:
      1. Mapped to the respective Earn Type; or
      2. Linked via Leave-Payroll Links in the Benefits module to ensure the employee is paid.
    3. For Timesheets on a workflow:
      1. Leave entries are created when the final-stage Timekeeper posts or approves the record.
      2. If a Timesheet is unposted, its corresponding Leave entry is deleted.
  2. When the feature is disabled:
    1. For Pay Group Settings configured via HRplus Time>>Maintenance>>Payroll Defaults>>Pay Groups with the following Time and Attendance Parameters:
      1. Post Straight Timesheets to Cycle Changes is set to Yes, and
      2. Salaried Worker ST is set to Productive Time Only.
    2. Then:
  1. Records with valid attendance will be paid through Cycle Changes.
  2. Absent Without Leave records will be excluded from Cycle Changes and no Leave entries will be created.

Step 1: Enable the Feature

System Configurations>>Feature Management>>Create Leave for Absent without Leave Timesheets

Step 2: Map Leave Type to Earn Type

HRplus Time>>Setup>>Leave Mapping>>With Earnings

Step 3: Navigate to Timesheets

User Self Service>>Timekeeper>>Timesheets>>Timesheet>>Current

HRplus Time>>Timesheets>>Timesheets>>Unapproved After Post

HRplus Time>>Timesheets>>Timesheets>>Current

Select Absent Without Leave in the Reason field.

Step 4: Verify Leave Taken

Benefits>>Leave>>Leave Transactions>>Leave Taken

HRplus Time>>Leave>>Leave Transactions>>Leave Taken

Improvements

1. Normal Shifts

All Shift information can be successfully viewed.
