Personnel - Add Account End Date to Security/Letter Template/General Event Settings/Separations

1. Add Account End Date to Security

A new feature, Add Account End Date to Security, when enabled, allows for the Account End Date in the Security module to be automatically populated when a Separation record is Posted, was added. Likewise, when a Separation record is Unposted the value (date) in the Account End Date field is automatically removed.

2. Letter Template

New formatting options, Font Type, Font Size and Line Height, were added.

Improvements

1. Rehire Employee/Status Changes/Employee Transaction History/Part Time/Full Time Changes/Gratuity

The following updates were made:

  1. The following screens are now filtered by Company Access:
    1. Personnel>>Personnel>>Transactions>>Rehire Employees
    2. Personnel>>Personnel>>Transactions>>Status Changes
    3. Personnel>>Personnel>>Transactions>>Employee Transaction History
  2. To improve application performance, suggested lists (that prompt the user) were implemented for all Search filters and, when entering New Records, for all Transactions screens. The updated fields are:
    1. Badge Number
    2. First Name
    3. Last Name
    4. Global ID
  3. In the Part Time/Full Time Changes screen, the Company filter was updated to display both Company Code and Company Name.

  4. The capital letters for the tab, Gratuity, were changed to sentence-case.

2. General Event Settings

Validation has been added to determine who should receive Event Reminders for user-defined Positions. i.e. when an Employee changes his/her Position, the current Employee in the role will receive Event Notifications, instead of the Employee who previously held the Position.

3. Separations

The Workflow for Separation transactions was tested and each step generated successfully.

4. View Unapproved

The query for the View Unapproved screen has been enhanced to improve the retrieval of Unapproved Employee Data, ensuring greater accuracy.
