TalentLMSTM (www.talentlms.com ) is a learning management third party system that is integrated with HRplus’ Training module. This integration enables courses to be added to TalentLMSTM, and updated in the Training module in HRplus.
The Talent LMS Integration setup comprises of two components:
- The Talent LMS Setup.
- HRplus Setup and Synchronization.
The following is a step-by-step guide to both components.
TalentLMS Setup
Step 1: Create an Account
Use your browser and go to www.talentlms.com. Follow the instructions to sign up for an account.

Step 2: Enable API
- Once the account is created, click the Visit Your Admin Page link in the TalentLMSTM dashboard OR navigate to Home>>Go To>>Account & Settings>>Basic Settings.
- Within the Security section, check the Enable API (Application Programming Interface) box.
Step 3: Add Custom Course Fields
- Click Custom Fields>>Custom Course Fields and add the following fields:
ii. Click Add Field and add each of the above fields:
- Duration Type: for this field, enter the following Dropdown items, separating them by a semicolon (;)
Hours; Days; Weeks; Months
- Visible on Reports and Visible to Learners: check as per the client’s specifications.
- Mandatory: check as all fields are mandatory.
iii. Once all custom fields have been entered, click the Save button to save all changes:
HRplus Setup
Step 1: Set up Client's Domain Name
In HRplus Everywhere, create a new record in the TalentLMSTM configuration screen with the Company and client’s Domain and API Key. System Configurations>>System Configurations>>Talent LMS Setup:

The client MUST procure TalentLMSTM and provide this information.
Step 2: Synchronize TalentLMS
- Once the account is created, click the Visit Your Admin Page link in the TalentLMSTM dashboard OR navigate to Home>>Go To>>Account & Settings>>Basic Settings.
- Within the Security section, check the Enable API (Application Programming Interface) box.
Talent Management>>Training>>Setup>>Synchronize Talent LMS
- Select the Company and click the Synchronize Talent LMS button. A message: Successfully Synchronized Talent LMS: will be displayed on completion of the synchronization.
- Synchronize as many times as needed e.g. use this feature every time a new Course is created or the Details of a Course updated in TalentLMSTM so that the data is seamlessly recorded/updated in HRplus.
Step 3: View Talent LMS Agency
On successful synchronization of HRplus and TalentLMSTM, the Talent LMS Agency will be automatically created in the Training Agencies screen and any Courses already created in TalentLMSTM will be visible.

Expand the record (click + on the left of the record) to view the courses:
- Click the following tabs to populate the fields as needed:
- Certificates
- Competencies to by Gained
- Qualifications
- Course Cost
4.2 View Course Details in TalentLMS
Note the Course details are the same in HRplus and in TalentLMSTM
Course Code = mandatory field (maximum size is 5 alphanumeric characters).
