Company Assets
Several improvements were made to the Company Assets module.
1. Asset Options
A new screen, Asset Options, was added to the menu. This option allows you to select whether employees can see all assets (Company Assets), only assets linked to their job (Job Assets) or both (Company Assets and Job Assets).

2. Job Assets Link
Another new screen, Job Assets Link, was also added to the menu. The Job Assets Link screen allows you to link assets to specific jobs.

3. Personnel
The Job Asset Link tab was also added to the child record in the Personnel module.
Personnel>>Setup>>Organisation Setup>>Structure>>Jobs>>[expand record]>>Job Assets Link
4. Download Templates
The ability to upload data was improved as Download Templates are now available on the following screens. Importing data minimises data entry.
Download Templates allow you to download a spreadsheet (provided by HRplus Software).
This spreadsheet will contain headings (e.g. Employee First Name, Position No., Date of Birth etc.), as well as instructions, for you to complete with your company's data.
Once completed, you can upload the spreadsheet to import the records to the HRplus database.
5. Asset Items Download Template
New columns, Serial #, Price, Purchase Date, Expiry Date were added to the Asset Item Template.
6. Error Messages
Error messages were added to the following screen:
Employee Asset Transaction Template import - the error messages would be displayed when (1) the variable names are not matched, and (2) when the amount taken is exceeded.
7. Department Administrators
The Company Assets screen was included in the Department Administrators menu.

8. Company Assets Privileges
Company Access (the ability to select a specific Company in multi-company scenarios) was added to the following screens:
Asset Groups, Asset Items, Asset Manager, Asset Options, Asset Item Transactions
9. Notifications
The Asset Manager was fixed so that Notifications are successfully sent when a manager requests an asset.
10. Employee Self Service
All Assets Items are now listed in Employee Self Service.
