How do I enter Child Maintenance using the Tax Allowance Breakdown?
The Tax Allowance Breakdown allows the entry of individual tax allowances rather than a summed figure.
This makes it easier to view the specific items that make up an employee's total Taxable Allowances that is permitted by Law.
Enter a TA7...Child Maintenance...cycle change
POWERpay>>Process Payroll>>Cycle Changes
This cycle change applies to maintenance of children rather than alimony (payment to spouse).
The Alimony (TA2) and Child Maintenance (TA7) are separate cycle changes so that changes, if necessary, can be easily made.
