How do I save Statutory Information?

Updated on

Statutory information generally refers to the payroll data (earnings, deductions, allowances, taxes etc.) that have been processed throughout the year.

Statutory information MUST be saved either BEFORE or AFTER the Year-End Close procedure is run. How do I close the payroll at year-end?

To save statutory information:

  1. Navigate to:
    • POWERpay>>Year End Close>>Statutories>>Save Statutory Report  - save by Pay Group;   OR
    • POWERpay>>Year End Close>>Statutories>>Save Statutory Report Consolidated by Company - save by Company (all pay groups in the company will be saved)

2.  Follow the instructions on the screen.

The process is the same for both.

POWERpay>>Year End Close>>Statutories>>Save Statutory Report

Changes to an employee's statutory record will only be displayed on the statutory form.  The payroll data WILL NOT be affected!
