How do I enter Personal Allowance using the Tax Allowance Breakdown?

Updated on

The Tax Allowance Breakdown allows the entry of individual tax allowances rather than a summed figure.

This makes it easier to view the specific items that make up an employee's total Taxable Allowances that is permitted by Law.

Enter a TA6...Personal Allowance...cycle change

POWERpay>>Process Payroll>>Cycle Changes

The above cycle change SHOULD only be entered if the Tax Allowance Breakdown is being used.

If the Tax Allowance Breakdown is NOT being used, then enter the following cycle change for Personal Allowances:

Use this cycle change if the Tax Allowance Breakdown is NOT being used.  Enter the TOTAL Allowances amount (Personal Allowances, 70% NIS, Approved Annuity etc.) i.e the summed figure.
