How do I create a new entity (company, division,department, section)?
POWERpay>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>Organisation Entities
Step 1 - create the company
Create all your companies, divisions, departments, sections
Step 2 - Link your entities
As an example, link Sections to Departments, Departments to Divisions, Divisions to Company resulting in a hierarchical organisation structure of Company, Division, Department, Section.
Step 3 - Grant access to entities
Security>>User Administration>>User Setup>>Company Access
You can either use the “Grant Access to All Companies, Divisions and Departments” button or you can use the drop-down option for more specific access (in the event that the employee/s are not given access to all Entities).
If you are not listed as an Administrator, you will NOT have access to the Security option. Please liaise with your Administrator if you need to add/remove access.
