Overview of the Training Module

The Training module is based on a developmental theme with requests for training being initiated online from recruitment,managers/supervisors/team leaders, the performance appraisal process, employees, the succession planning process, and organizational development goals.

The module:

  • Provides for automated gap analysis in the areas ofcompetencies, certifications and qualifications.
  • Allows Managers to assign/nominate employees for scheduled courses whether internal or external tot he organisation.

Tracks and maintains:

  • training agencies training requests by source (Need Assessment,Self-Service Manager request, Appraisals, Recruitment,Succession);
  • information on training programs, modules, content,schedules and costs and training schedules;
  • workflow for approval process.

In order for the system to perform an accurate Job Gap Analysis, please ensure the following:

  • Job Competencies, Job Certificates, Job Qualifications are filled out before placing an employee into a job(Personnel>>Setup>>Organisation>>Structure>>Jobs).
  • Employee Competencies are entered(Personnel>>Employees>>Employees>>Employees HR View>>Competencies).
