How do I set NIS to a fixed amount?

Updated on

National Insurance (Trinidad and Tobago) can be set to a fixed amount for:

  1. One (1) cycle; OR
  2. Unlimited cycles

To return to the normal calculation of NIS, zero out the fixed NIS amount.

POWERpay>>Process Payroll>>Cycle Changes

The above cycle change will fix an employee’s NIS at the predetermined amount in ONE (1) cycle only.

The above cycle change will fix an employee’s NIS at the predetermined amount in the present cycle and cycles that follow until it is altered.

NIS should only be fixed if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!

Zero out the fixed NIS amount.
