How do I adjust NIS and HS for Vacation Leave?
To adjust the number of Mondays for which National Insurance (NIS) and Health Surcharge (HS) should be deducted for employees proceeding on leave (Trinidad and Tobago).
POWERpay>>Process Payroll>>Cycle Changes
Count the number of Mondays during which the employee will be on vacation including Mondays in the current cycle and enter the value in the Amount column.
The payroll will adjust the employee’s national insurance contributions based on the employee’s earnings and number of Mondays.
