How do I set tax to a fixed amount?
Tax can be set to a fixed amount for:
- One (1) cycle; OR
- Unlimited cycles
To return to the normal calculation of tax, zero out the fixed tax amount.
POWERpay>>Process Payroll>>Cycle Changes
The above cycle change will fix an employee’s tax at the predetermined amount in ONE (1) cycle only.
The above cycle change will fix an employee’s tax at the predetermined amount in the present cycle and cycles that follow until it is altered.
Tax should only be fixed if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!
Zero out the fixed tax amount
