Enter in the Grievance Categories window the codes to be used to identify the various
grievances. The organization will determine the categories to be used since it depends on the
type of workers involved; whether or not there is a representative union with bargaining status
or not; the existence of a collective agreement and/or a grievance procedure with specific
stages; or an internal system for dealing with grievances, injuries, accidents etc. However,
please note that you must enter a unique code for each grievance such as SXH – Sexual
Harassment, SAL1 – Salary Discrepancies etc.
