The following updates were made:
- Years of Service Required is now applied through the System Code SLCSLPYR.
- The St. Lucia Certified Sick Pay Rule is now implemented as follows:

St. Lucia Certified Sick Pay Rule Active (SLCSLA):
- Active: Value = 1
- Inactive: Value = 0

St. Lucia Certified Sick Pay Leave Code (SLCSLC):
- Value = Leave Type Code which the rule is being applied to.
- E.g. SLSL (The rule will only be applied to this Leave Type.)

St. Lucia Certified Sick No Pay Code (SLCSNPC):
- Value = Earn Code used for No Pay.
- Note: The Earn Code should have an Earn Factor of 0.

St. Lucia Certified Sick Partial Pay Code (SLCSLPPC):
- Value = Earn code used for partial pay .
- Note: The partial pay Earn Code should have an Earn Factor of 1 as the adjustment to 35% will be done via the Leave Pay procedure.

St. Lucia Certified Sick Pay Years Required (SLCSLPYR):
- Value = Years of Service Required this should be set to 0.5.
- E.g. 0.5 = 6 months.

Step 1: Set Up System Codes

Note the following Reg Pay System Codes are being used:
- REG PAY IN UNITS PAY GROUPS (RPUPG) - comma separated list of Pay Groups to apply to.
- REG PAY IN UNITS ACTIVE (RPUA) - to activate set Value to 1, otherwise set Value to 0.
- REG PAY IN UNITS EARN CODES (RPUEC) - comma separated list of Earn Codes to deduct from basic pay, enter the respective values for salaried employees.

Step 2: Set Up Leave Payroll Linkages
Create the link between the Leave Code and Payroll.

Step 3: Create and Approve a Leave Transaction
Create and Approve a Leave Transaction for an employee where there is a Sunday included.

Step 4: View Cycle Changes
The Leave Taken is successful with 3 days at Earn Factor 1 and the rest being at 0.35. Note: Sunday would not be included in the calculations.
- The calculation for the first 3 days: 3*8=24
- The remaining 3 days: 2*8=16
- (Since one day falls on a Sunday only 2 days are paid)
