Account Codes
Once your GL segment has been mapped out, you will know the segments for which you must have an account code entered.
In this example, the account code is made up of four segments.

The Segment Reference for segments 2, 3 and 4 are linked HRplus entities or payroll codes. based on the segment reference selected, this determines where the account code must be entered. Use the table below as a guide to enter the account code.

User Defined | Click on the + to Expand the segment of the GL structure where the data is not referenced on HRplus. Enter the user defined account segment codes and the descriptions. |
Account Code | Payroll>>Maintenance>>Payroll Setup - enter the account code for the respective payroll code - earning, allowance, other income or deduction. |
Location | Payroll>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>Structure>>Location>> Click on + to expand and enter the account code for the respective location. |
Job | Payroll>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>General Codes>>Jobs - enter the accountcode for the respective job. |
Organisation Level 1 | Payroll>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>Structure>>Organisation Entities>>Level Company - enter the account code for the respective company. |
Organisation level 2 | Payroll>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>Structure>>Entities>>Level Division - enter the account code for the respective company. |
Organisation level 3 | Payroll>>Maintenance>>System Defaults>>Structure>>Organisation Entities>>Level Department - enter the account code for the respective department. |
