      SUBJECT:         AI ENHANCED VERSION IN 2024 & OTHER IMPROVEMENTS


2024 will see significant upgrades to the HRplus application that will ensure significant productivity gains for our customers. Among these are the following:

  • The HRplus application will be much easier to use e.g. it will be a simpler process to create employees and positions as the pay group, location, and other parameters will no longer be required when creating employees. Therefore there will be no need to make a position change to accomplish a change to these and other employee parameters.
  • The application will also be significantly faster and yet there will be no loss of functionality. The more minimalist redesign will facilitate much faster access to data. All attributes of the employee profile and various transaction types such as status, position type, etc. have now been placed in one structure realizing a more minimalist interface as the tons of tabs under the setup areas across the application are no longer required. As a result, the interface will be cleaner and leaner.
  • All application areas will be date-sensitive so that functionality related to data categories can be easily turned on/off by flagging an end date when no longer being used.
  • The application will be driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI)!!  This will result in greater productivity for all users as they will be able to speak conversationally to the AI built into the application e.g. a manager can request from the HRplus AI interface a listing of hires/terminations for a period by department, and this request which will be generated in seconds! 
  • Employees can ask questions about their leave, timesheets, etc. There will be no need to wait on HR for this information. 
  • HR staff will benefit from requesting complex data without having to ask HRplus to build a report to get this data in the BI Tool.
  • For example, which are the best-performing recruiting options given the performance of employees recruited by various methods? Which supervisors or managers had the highest turnover of employees in their department? And all of this interfacing with the AI software module will be in natural language… English only initially.
  • AI queries can be requested of all modules – Performance Appraisals, Leave, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Recruitment, etc.
  • AI will also be available to employees via Self-Service and the HRplus Mobile app.


Clients will be given a demonstration of the above functionality in mid-March 2024, and there will be an opportunity to get a sneak peek as early as the beginning of February 2024. The new release will be available to clients sometime during May/June 2024.  However, this date will be pushed back a bit for clients with customisations as those will need to be migrated to the new version of HRplus.


ISO Certification

We are pleased to advise that we have passed the first stage of the audit for ISO27001 Security certification in December 2023, and will complete the final stage in February 2024.


Dedicated Account Representatives

In 2024 We will also be introducing dedicated account representatives (ARs) for customers as well as extended support to weekends, and will soon be surveying our client base to determine those who are interested.  These new initiatives will also be beneficial to those customers who “do not close” e.g. hotels, and retail outlets, and who may require additional support during weekends and public holidays.  The cost for this service will be very affordable, particularly if many clients express an interest in adopting the service.

HRplus has been growing significantly on all fronts and currently has over 300 corporate customers ranging in size from 50 to 6000 employees. Over staff count has also grown to over 70 employees. Our BPO payroll services has also grown significantly, as have our partnerships with a number of international partners.
